In 2013, four Colombians started a campaign to ask people to spell the name of their country correctly.  Feeling fed up after being invited as 'Columbian' representatives to speak at a social media conference, they used their digital skills to set the story straight.  Launching a facebook page to educate the rest of the world, it took off and now has over 28,000 followers.  You can find out fun facts about Colombia there.

One of the Top Coffee Growing Countries

Colombia is one of the top coffee growing countries in the world.  In 2020 the World Economic Forum produced a publication showing that Colombia was the 3rd largest producer of coffee with a whopping 14.3 Million 60kg bags of coffee beans!  That makes a LOT of coffee!!
