"Indian Runner Ducks" by the fabulous Caroline Jackman. Waddling as gracefully as possible in a row, on a small farm in Surrey, these ducks are a secret weapon in keeping pests under control.
"Runners by name, runners by nature. I would say their step count would put ours to shame! They are constantly on the move and when not running around the garden, they are in amongst the reeds of our duck pond, in full chatty mode. I think our Indian Runners are the happiest of our farm animals, especially when it rains. Puddles bring bountiful worms and bugs not to be missed and they dig their beaks in with delight. They always hang out together. This drawing captures their beautiful faces and their community spirit. " - Caroline Jackman
